He graduated in marine biology in 2014, specializing in the marine environment, in search of understanding the complexity of non-human life, the rare and unknown, what is not seen. Faced with the need to untangle internal knots, he began a psychoanalytic therapy work that would bring him closer over 9 years to the abyssal depths of his own mind, of human life. These experiences will be pivotal in his stage creations.

He began his stage training in 2014 and continues to expand it, combining his professional circus activity with continuous training. He trained for 5 years in aerial rope, fixed and vertical trapeze (Emiliano Ron, Nicolas Stocco, Juana Beltrán, etc.) and later in contemporary dance (Lucas Condró, Magdalena Garzón, Helena Canas, etc.) and voguing (Liliya Tolkun). In 2022, he joined the biennial aerial stage research laboratory with Cata Aguayo (ESACTO Lido graduate). His training comes from self-management and community. This leads him to create and join a multitude of self-managed projects around circus, to study social circus (Ateneu de Nou Barris), and to begin his teaching career at Ass. Gente Colgada. He advocates for a circus with a class perspective and believes that training in circus from the periphery brings authenticity and discursive richness to the stage.
His creations are the result of all the formative and professional paths he has taken so far. Far from individualizing the stage discourse in self-referentiality, his stage research focuses on how to universalize individual mental phenomena. The stage as a place to find each other through oneself.
p.s. He is fascinated by the camp aesthetic, he believes that internally he is Divine in Pink Flamingos.

anna

A biology graduate with a half-completed doctoral thesis on the structure of proteins without structure (2015) and a completed doctoral thesis on DNA from unproductive, useless, ill-adapted, over-adapted, imploded, and occasionally dead cells (2019). Author of an illustrated book “Starry starry night” that no one has ever seen (2021).

Her training in the performing arts focuses on aerial disciplines and develops in various spaces in Barcelona. More specifically, she began her training in 2012 with Yolanda and Rebeca Gutiérrez (Cia Capicua), mainly focusing on the disciplines of aerial silks and static trapeze. Starting in 2014, she also began training in the discipline of aerial rope with Emiliano Ron, Clara Prietro, Thaïs Julià, Alba Comella, and Katerina Kgana. She complements her aerial training with other disciplines, mainly chinese pole and contemporary dance. From 2019 to 2020, she combined her technical training with teaching, giving regular aerial courses (aerial silks, aeroañ rope, and static trapeze) at Piccolo Cirkus and occasional workshops at La Fàbrica de Somnis (Vic) and Atlantis (Barcelona). Currently, she focuses on creative work as a rope duo in the context of Companyia Pols and individually on the project Butza of TENSA Companyia.
As a daily traveler between the scientific and performing mesocosms, Anna observes how the aspirations, obsessions, egos, and ridiculousness rooted in their respective inhabitants lead each and every one of them to the desire and necessity to transform, revolutionize, and transcend.
An admirer of the non-productive and contemplative capacity of her dog, in her creations, she is interested in investigating where this desire comes from and what its usefulness and extreme consequences are. Where does our DNA go when we burst?
ps. He would never want to transform anything.
